I got them back on my iPhone. It’s been a while since I’ve heard of them and forgot how good they are. Not just sound wise, but lyrically too. Just nice, mellow throbacks.

Bands that I actually give a fuck about too. In example, heidi. and SID. I know there’s Merry that’s like the J-Rock Jazz gods, but I’m not into them as much as the others.

I just miss when heidi. first started off, they had some soul into them. Some jazz flare to their riffs and bass lines. Yoshihiko had despair in his voice. Now it’s like anime theme songs and shit. They’re still good but just not what I got hooked on when I first listened to them. They’re actually cleaning up their image too which is a damper.

SID is just…well, SID had an entire jazz/blues CD. It was amazing and still is, they need more stuff like that. All their work is primarily poppish stuff, it’s not bad that they’re melodic and amazing but I just prefer their jazz tone.

I just want a jazzish J-Rock band, that’s all. I know there’s gotta be other J-Rock jazz bands that I don’t know about.
